| Hello Coaches - We have over 200 coaches registered for the upcoming ACF Fiorentina Clinics and registration is still open. Next week, we will be hosting Director of Soccer, Sandro Mencucci and the Director of Coaching, Vincenzo Vergine from ACF Fiorentina. One of the most important steps we can take in Northern California is to educate ourselves. We, as coaches, have a huge impact on the quality of soccer in our area. It is vital we continue our soccer education - for our players sake! If you have the time to attend the sessions but have not signed up - please do! Vincenzo Vergine will cover the recommended training emphasis for the 96 - 95 - 94 - 93 ages. With powerpoint and video he will present the methods of training and the amount of tactical, technical, and physical training their coaches perform per age group. The afternoon sessions will feature the Norcal Premier PDP staff running sessions with selected PDP players with Vincenzo Vergine providing feedback and review to the coaches in attendance. We recognize it can be difficult to give up a day of work or family to attend this course but we think it will be well worth it. Feel free to attend either the morning or the afternoon sessions or both. Good results don’t come by themselves, they are the result of the right kind of work. But the real result for us will be when we bring a player through to the first team, which will hopefully happen in two to three years.” ” We follow these boys step by step, monitoring the development of their character and ethical behaviour.
